“Easy,Scenic And Great Lunch”

My partner and I went on the bali bagus cycling tour during our stay in Ubud and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. The tour begins around 8am and finishes around 3-4pm.
The day starts with a tour of the Satria coffee plantation where your guide will serve you a complimentary flight of different teas and coffees that are produced at the plantation. Coffee enthusiasts can also enjoy a mug of Kopi Luwak for $5AUD.

After the plantation, you will have breakfast at a local eatery with great views of the landscape (including a volcano) before commencing the actual cycling tour. The cycling tour is around 25km but is primarily downhill and flat which makes for a really easy and enjoyable ride especially if you're not fit. The ride itself was amazing. You will ride through local villages, a bamboo forest, lush green countryside as well as visit a temple.

Wonderfull Trip

This was the best activity I did on my trip to Bali. The guides were excellent and we felt really safe with them. They were always looking out for us and stopping traffic to let us cross roads if they were busy! We started with an amazing breakfast overlooking the volcano and lake. Followed by a trip to a coffee plantation which was really interesting.

This was followed by the 2hr bike ride through villages and temples which was just stunning. The riding is fairly active for someone like me who doesn't cycle at home and had a cracked rib (!) but certainly manageable and worth the effort! It's also mostly downhill so you can get away with coasting for a lot of it. We finished off with a fantastic walk through the paddy fields where we stopped to help the local ladies beating the rice. And then lunch at another beautiful location in the paddy fields with excellent food...

Fabulous Bike Tour

Does a place with only positive reviews live up to its reputation? That's what I was wondering when I booked our trip.
It does.
Such an unforgettable experience. Our guides were so prepared, thoughtful, knowledgeable and kind. Couldn't have asked for better company. They are careful to understand what you're looking for on your trip - all you have to do is let them know.
The route wasn't hard at all and took us through some intimate, real attractions. Nothing was staged like on some tours and you weren't forced to do anything that you weren't into. They pointed out options (like great spots for photos or people to speak with) but if you weren't interested then you just drift by to the next attraction..

It was real Bali, real places and real people everywhere from rice farmers, bamboo forest, handicraft makers, temple and friendly village.

It was awesome!

Thank you to reviewers on TripAdvisor that I decided to hire Bali Bagus Adventure for my cycling tour. It was a kinda crazy decision to cycle in a long journey but yes am glad I did the right thing.

It was an awesome once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to cycle around Kabupaten Bangli. Pak Wayan and Pak Made was highly protective in terms of our safety during the whole journey. They are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.

3 1/2 hours and 32km altogether for the entire journey and am proud of myself that I finished it to the last line. Awesome! with the sweats, adrenalin rush and money spent, defly it was worth it. I love cycling around the villages looking at the beautiful Puras. We have many pit stops in between for visiting temples, drinks and taking pictures. It is important to wear sunglasses, sneakers and appropriate attire. My pictures says it all

“A highly recommended Adventure”

We had the tour all to ourselves and what a wonderful day it was. The three of us were very well looked after and able to stop and explore whenever we wanted to.

Breakfast overlooking Lake Batur, visit to coffee tasting, discovering locally grown produce, comfy bikes, beautiful bamboo forest, meeting local villagers who opened their homes to us, ending with a delicious traditional meal. Well done to all at Bali Grace and thank you for your honesty and prompt return of lost items, greatly appreciated. This is about my 7th bike tour in Bali and you are definitely one of the best...

“The best way to enjoy the Bali countryside!”

Had an absolutely wonderful day out very well organized , very friendly staff . This ride would suit any rider from novice to experienced,

fabulous way to see more of the island . The food at the end was amazing would definitely recommend these guys :) great time!! were impressed with this. After a very scenic ride, you will enjoy a late lunch at a small, quiet and picturesque eatery perched in the middle of rice paddies. The lunch at the end was also really great traditional food. Ample supply of both food and drinks.
It will be a lifetime memory.

Wonderfull Trip with Bali Bagus!”

What a way to introduce yourself to Bali. :)

I booked the Bali Bagus tour for my family and it was a fantastic activity for us. I thought we would have one guide but we had four or five. The guides answered questions, made us laugh, ensured a safe passage across intersections etc... and helped whenever we needed it.

“Best tours in Bali”

Best tour in Bali!!

Before heading to Bali I researched and found that must of the famous beaches in Bali (Kuta/Seminyak) were not that nice compared to other beaches I had been to, so I really wanted to do something different that was really unique in Bali-and luckily this bike tour was exactly what I was looking for.

You get to see what feels like the whole center of the island, including epic volcanos, stunning temples and beautiful bamboo forests, all while on bike.

Biking past rice terraces in rural Bali while looking to the left and seeing little Bali villages and ancient temples on my right has to be one of the coolest things I have ever done, and I highly recommend anybody visiting (even if you aren't the most physically fit-most of the tour is downhill) to try this out to see the 'real' and non-touristy Bali...
